Youth collecting for Care and Share

Service to Others

1 John 3:18 says, "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." We provide opportunities for youth to show God's love through their actions by arranging service projects every other month. In the past, these projects have varied greatly. We've served meals at the soup kitchen, baked communion bread, sent care packages to our college students, prepared food for guests at the Ronald McDonald House, and much, much more!

We also encourage youth to serve our congregation by being worship assistants. We love to see our high school youth serving as lectors and ushers while our middle school youth take turns serving as acolytes each week. Musical students can get involved in our orchestra, lead worship with our youth band Ignite, or provide special music during services.
