Our Mission
It is our mission to assist seniors and their families with
resources, fellowship, and spiritual and emotional support. We will continue
to expand this mission in months to come, and we invite you to return to this
site often as we provide new information and updates.
A Senior Moment @ Ascension
A Senior Moment is a discussion group that meets the third
Thursday of each month at the church. Meetings start at 11:30 am with a potluck
lunch at noon. There is time for a short business meeting followed by songs,
laughter, spirituality and education. A guest speaker is invited to speak to
the group on issues facing seniors and their families. Topics will include
medical, legal, social and financial issues.
