If you live in a big city, chances are that you are familiar with how rampant crime can be in these urban locales. Indeed, crime is so prevalent in these massive conglomerations that quite a few criminals have managed to turn their sordid activities into veritable business empires, and we can think of no one that personifies this better than Al Capone. Suffice it to say that Al Capone was one of the most dangerous as well as successful mobsters in modern history, and his legacy endures intact at this current point in time.
The funny thing about Al Capone is that he too needed business cards, although he lived so long ago that Metal Business Kards probably weren’t an option for him. Also, he probably couldn’t mention his real occupation on these business cards, and as a result of the fact that this is the case one might wonder what kind of job he actually displayed on the official communications that these commercial cards allowed him to take part in.
Al Capone’s business cards said that the worked as a used furniture salesman, and that was basically what allowed him to operate without the authorities catching wind of what he was up to. That didn’t stop him from getting arrested, tried and convicted for tax fraud, but if you compare that to what he actually did you would realize that he actually successfully evaded the true punishment that was warranted for his crimes without a shadow of a doubt. His business cards gave him an air of legitimacy that enabled him to operate so brazenly for so long without anyone being able to arrest him.
